Abstract
Panels is a dual-map comparison tool for exploring GSI (Japan Geospatial Information Authority) tile layers, built as an internal tool and later rebuilt as an open project. Compare historical aerial imagery, topographic maps, and land use layers across time in either a side-by-side or opacity-blended overlay view, with synchronized pan/zoom across panels.
Analyzing bus network accessibility using GTFS data to compute travel-time isochrones and network centrality. Despite high stop density, poor transfer integration creates significant time penalties for peripheral communities, indicating need for route restructuring.
